Auto claim Twitch drops without watching the streams

Skins, crates, cosmetics: Twitch drops give you real in-game rewards. The catch is the watch time they require. Here’s how they work, and how to claim them automatically.

What is a Twitch drop?

A drop is an in-game reward offered by a publisher for watching a Twitch channel that streams its game. Campaigns usually last from a few days to a few weeks, and each reward requires a certain watch time: often 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours or more.

To receive the reward, your Twitch account has to be linked to your game account (Rust, Valorant, Call of Duty, Escape from Tarkov…), and the reward has to be claimed from your Twitch inventory once the time is reached.

Why it takes so long by hand

A campaign with four rewards can require more than ten hours of watch time. You have to find a participating channel, check that it’s live, switch channels if it goes offline, then remember to claim each reward before the campaign ends.

With several accounts or several games, keeping up by hand is simply impossible.

How to claim them automatically

A “drops miner” does this work for you, in the background. SuperStreamDropper:

  • finds the active campaigns for your games on its own;
  • picks a live channel that progresses the drop, and switches if it goes offline;
  • progresses all your accounts at the same time, without opening any video;
  • claims each reward as soon as it’s available;
  • also handles Kick drops in the same app.

What to know before you start

First, link your Twitch account to your game account on the campaign page: without that link, no reward will arrive. Some campaigns are limited to specific channels: the app follows them.

Automation may go against Twitch’s terms of service, which Twitch is free to enforce. SuperStreamDropper acts in moderation, but how you use your accounts remains your responsibility.

Yes, as many accounts as you want, in parallel.

Does my Twitch password go through your servers?

No. You sign in with the official code at twitch.tv/activate, and the connection stays on your PC.
